I joined this club 8 yrs ago as a true beginner at age 50! As a former NCAA All American athlete and as a former coach in 3 different sports (both at collegiate and HS levels), I feel confident in saying that the tennis pros at Buttonwood rival any coaches I've had previously (and two of my former coaches were Olympians in technical individual sports akin to tennis). Beyond the phenomenal instruction to elevate my own game, Buttonwood is truly a family. The lifelong friendships and atmosphere at this club (from members and staff) remind me of the camaraderie I experienced in over 20 yrs of military service. Friends that will do anything for you and wonderful people that anticipate your needs with a genuine spirit of kindness. The social connections and aspects of this club can't be quantified, but are certainly precious. Joining this club has been life-altering for me; it has positively enhanced my daily life, both physically and emotionally. I offer the highest regards possible.

I have played at Buttonwood for the past 12 years, and it is my home away from home. The men's Round Robin is a great way to meet players of all abilities and get into great play. Having my own group now gives me consistent access to a court 3 times a week, and it has developed great friendships. The courts are always well-maintained, and the office staff, especially Merry, is , well....Merry! I love it there! Ken Tatje

After moving down from Long Island to Stuart over a year ago, I joined Buttonwood Tennis club and I have never regretted it. The facility, the staff and the members make the Buttonwood experience very warm and inviting. The quality of tennis is challenging and no matter what your level , finding a competitive game is no problem. Making Buttonwood your tennis home is a no brainer.

I have been playing tennis for 20 years and most of this time at Buttonwood. The Har True courts at Buttonwood are well maintained and consistently being improved. The opportunities to play are many, from a Mon/Wed/Friday Round Robin to team play ranging from 3.0 ladies to 3.5/4.0 both men and women leagues. Best of all the Staff from Pro lessons to daily scheduling is the BEST in the area. Always accommodating and a pleasure to work with. If you are looking for a place to play , even if you’re just starting, Buttonwood is the Best in the area. Also, the Pros also run student clinics for the schools in the area. Bernie Carmell
